Our Story

It started with a frustrating performance review. Sarah, then Head of People at a fast-growing startup, watched talented engineers sit through awkward, unhelpful review sessions. The feedback was vague, the process was dreaded, and nobody felt like they grew from it.

She partnered with Marcus, who had faced the same problems from the engineering side at Google. Together, they asked: what if performance reviews actually helped people get better?

In 2022, they founded Perfo Review with a simple belief: feedback should be honest, actionable, and even—dare we say—enjoyable. Three years later, we're helping hundreds of companies turn performance management into a genuine force for growth.
